This couple had done a wedding shoot prior to the day, so I was able to use that as a reference and give them their photos at their wedding
/ My Process
/ 01
I set up my equipment at a table, and guests approach me to be drawn, individually or in pairs. I take a picture of them to use as a reference
/ 02
I photograph the guests and draw an outline sketch. During this process, they can either leave, or sit at my table and watch
/ 03
I use my brush pens to fill in the sketch with colour, trying to capture the individuality of the guests’ outfits
/ 04
I finish the illustration by outlining in fineliner. The artwork is ready for the guest to collect, or put aside to show to the newlywed couple, depending on the couple’s preference
